[3204] Thomas Cotham served in the Revolutionary War in South Carolina. It is in the Roster of South Carolina. Patriots in the AmericanRevolution by Bobby Gilmer Ross, Baltimore Genealogical Publishing Co, 1983--he seved 90 days as a horseman in theSpartan Regiment of Militia under Captain Vardy McBee and Col. John Thomas. He was living in the Cheraws Dist of SC in 1778 & in Franklin Co., GA in 1802-8.One source also has Thomas having Richard b. abt. 1780 NC d. Jan 1, 1855 Ark. married Elizabeth________.
